Karan launches ‘Saidhai Chella’ audio

Actor Karan and RK graced over the occasion of audio launch of ‘Saidhai Chella’ that took place last evening at Film Chamber. The film is produced by S.R.M. and is directed by Seethapathi with debutant Vijay Anand and Mithuna enacting lead roles along with S.R. Mugesh, Seetha, Amjad Khan, Ponnambalam, Mayilsamy, ‘Chaplin’ Balu and others performing vital roles.

John Peter has tuned melodies to the lyrics of Neela Megan and V.M. Udhaya Shankar handling editing. N. Ravi has handled cinematography and Ramesh Reddy, Anand and Senthamarai have choreographed dance.

Director Harirajan, Director Pavitharan, FEFSI President VC Guganathan, Producer Swaminathan and others were also present for the audio launch.

‘Pen Singam’ goes stylish in make

When most of the recent works penned by Kalainyar M. Karunanidhi weren’t visualized with perfection over the screens, director Bali Srirangam makes sure that ‘Pen Singam’ surpasses on such technical arenas with excellence.

‘Pen Singam’ is produced by N. Jaya Murugan under the banner of J. Nandini Arts featuring Udhay Kiran, Meera Jasmine, Richard, Radha Ravi and ‘Thalaivaasal’ Vijay in lead roles. With major portion of the film being canned in Chennai, a stupendous stunt sequence of climax was shot across the outskirts of Chennai near the ports of Ennore.

Apart from these leading actors, Vivek, Riteesh M.P, Sudarsana Sen, Rambha, Rohini, Sriranjini, Vaagai Chandrasekar, Nizhalgal Ravi, Madan Pop, O.A.K. Sundar and many others have performed prominent roles.

Art Director Sagu had erected grand sets for a song that features choreographer-actor Raghava Lawrence and Lakshmi Rai shaking legs together. P.C. Sriram’s assistant Vijay Ragav has cranked the camera. Apart from this, couple of duet songs penned by Kalainyar Karunanidhi has been pictured in the backdrops of foreign locales.

Veteran Ravi - “A.R.Rahman’s music is Fast food’

When the entire globe is praising A.R. Rahman with such titles – Madras Mozart, academy award winner, Grammy winner and so on, ace music director Ravi is precisely dismayed with this musician. Know what? The music director has blatantly mentioned that A.R. Rahman’s musical score as a fast-food, which is simple terms means – ‘Junk Food’.

Music Director Ravi was present in Sri Lanka to attend the musical program – Geeth Maduri 2010… During that occasion, Ravi said, “There isn’t any synch between the lyrics and music scored by music director A.R. Rahman. But Ilayaraja can be regarded as the God of contemporary music as he gives more prominence for lyrics.”

Ravi is well known in golden period of Hindi cinema as he made spellbinding works with ‘Ghunghat’, ‘Gharana’, ‘Grashti’, ‘Do Kaliyan’ and more.
