Actor Jeeva eyes for Ad Films

Best way to earn Lakhs and Crores of numbers within couple of days. Any idea what is it all about? Video commercials would indeed fetch lots of money for many actors and actresses. When asked Jeeva whether he would be taking up ad projects, he said that lots of offers have been approached on him. But, he is sure about churning out at least 2 hit films and then go for TV commercials.

Jeeva seems to have gained whole lot of experience from his previous films. In all his films, Jeeva has been winning rave reviews, but none of them did really well at the box-office. Speaking on this, he says that audiences don’t want to go for exceptional storylines that gets more emotional. At the same time, they are not looking out for extremely sweet stories. So what is that they all need? “It’s mixture of all entertaining elements with a good script” added Jeeva who is sure that his forthcoming film Shiva Manasukulla Shakthi will be of that sort of flick…

Sangeetha and her favorite remake

Be it actor, actresses, director or any comedians: all of them have added up an aspect in their favorites. Well, its none other than their favorite films in which they like to take up in remaking them. Obviously, Sangeetha is no exception for she too has a flick in mind. More interested in classical dance, Sangeetha says that she would be delighted if any of the filmmakers do remake Salangai Oli and cast her in the role of Jayapradha. So, whom would be the hero she wants to be placed in the role of Kamal Haasan? “Let it be Kamal Haasan for there is no such actor who can either hold his place” says Sangeetha.

At present, she has completed shooting for ‘Dhanam’ in Tamil and ‘Indrajith’ in Telugu. Sangeetha has plans to go for a tour for taking rest and then take up other projects. Also she has plans to join hands with her brother who is planning to produce a film…

Complaints of a glamorous girl

“I may be appearing in glamorous roles and that has got nothing to do with my real life” said frustrated Mumaith Khan. The reason beneath it is something of cliché. Actresses donning glamorous roles with lots of skin shows are always linked up with the rumors. Mumaith Khan made high waves with her appealing looks in flicks ‘Udambu Eppadi Irukku’, Telugu movie ‘Maisamma IPS’ and ‘Pokkiri’.

With her hopes dashed down, Mumaith Khan uttered that she is a woman who respects the values of culture and tradition of an Indian Woman and follows it. Also added that few journals are interested in penning stories spoiling actresses’ images and that is not the right deed. Mumaith said so, because she read in one of the articles that she isn’t brimming up with skin shows just on the screen, but in real life too…

Tragedy causes havoc in Swathi’s Marriage

Actress Swathi had a happy occasion recently and that was during her betrothal with Dubai based tycoon Mr.Srikanth. Marriage that was supposed to be taken place during this week has been postponed. Well, the fact is that one of the closest relatives of Srikanth has passed away and that has really made Swathi more worried. In fact, Swathi who was eager to get married didn’t know that the bridegroom’s family members have postponed the marriage ceremony and got the information passed on through someone.

Swathi was on the peak in her career as she paired up with the leading stars like Vijay, Ajith and more. Also there were rumors linking up her with Ajith Kumar since they had shared good chemistry on the screen….

“Nothing bad about senior actors” Sheril Brindo

There is always something more complex for most of the heroines for pairing up with senior actors. Probably, most of the leading actresses feel that their image would be spoiled on the factor of ageing. But there are few, who feel the best not in pairing up with actors, but their strong characterizations in the script. Obviously, Sheril Brindo is of that sort since she carries the same attitude.

Sheril Brindo made her debut as an actress with the film ‘Arasangam’ starring opposite Vijayakanth in the female lead role. And they have again paired up for another flick ‘Engal Aasan’. With shooting for the film is completed, Sheril Brindo now pairs up with Director Sundar C for the film ‘Vaada’ directed by A.Venkatesh. Speaking about this, Sheril says that she is not worried about pairing up with senior or junior actors and all that she wants is to have good scope in the film.

Mohan Lal on Kuselan’s failure

Actor Mohan Lal, of course the superstar of Malayalam Film Industry had his own perspective reason for the failure of Kuselan. Speaking about the big failure of this film, he says that Rajnikanth was the one and only reason. “You know something? Superstars like Rajnikanth, Cheeranjivi and Kamal Haasan shouldn’t appear in guest appearance, since their diehard fans don’t accept it” said Mohan Lal.

Also added that he is quite happy for not getting stuck inside the circle of actors for whom people have their hero worships. At the same time feels elated, since audiences treat him equally to that of mainstream actors. Recently, Mohan Lal had performed the guest appearance as a 90-yr old man in a film titled ‘Paradesi’ and that has won him the accolades.
