1. There is a scene where hero Kamal Haasan and Malika Sherawat fight on the top of building and as they are about fall down, they catch hold of a synthetic vertically long banner that has the face of Sardaji Kamal. As both get down, they tear the banner apart from both the ends and land down. This scene is originally present in one of the James Bond film starring Pierce Brosnon titled tomorrow never dies.
2. It took a day to shoot just a car blasting in the remote road. The arrangements were made prior to one day. As every resident near the place looking at the set decorations thought a big scene is going to be shot, they were completely disappointed. Exactly at 1 in the night, bomb blasting from the car was shot.
3. Kanal Kannan while directing stunt wasn’t completely satisfied with Kamal’s performance. He was asking more and more takes (the scene involved Kamal getting out of the car as foreigner Kamal tries to shoot him and has to hit a person traveling in bike). Kamal Haasan was frustrated but couldn’t scold him, but did it indirectly by scolding assistant directors into task.
4. 5 foreigners raising their bikes upwards the stairs was the scene and that would appear on the screens just for 15 seconds. It took nearly about half a day to complete this shot.
5. There is a scene where Kamal has to jump from the train and hold a rope to jump the bridge. A dupe did the stunt was severely hurt and immediately doctor with ambulance came to his rescue.
