A Different tale of Romance
A Different tale of Romance
Atlantic cinemas and producer S. Umapathy’s maiden production, Kathalil Vizhundhen promises to be a truly different fare from the routine love stories. P.V. Prasad makes his debut as a director with Boys fame Nakulan and debutante Sunaina in the lead. “It is a story untold on the Indian screen,” claims the director who wrote the story, screenplay and dialogues for the movie. “Even death cannot break love is the central point on which a novel love story is woven.” Nakulan, brother of actor Devayani who made his debut with Shankar’s Boys has to shed around 25 kilos for the role and he performed the risky action scenes without a double and in the process got injured too. “But within a few days he is back on the sets, shows his commitment,” says the happy producer.
Sunaina has acted in a couple of Telugu films and is debuting in Tamil. Nearing completion, the film stars Hariraj in a negative role with Livingstone, Sampath and ‘Pasi’ Sathya in pivotal roles. Recently the audio release function for the movie was held at Sathyam Theatre with an array of political and film personalities present presided over by TN Minister Mr. Arcot N. Veerasamy with Union Minster Mr. R. Velu as the Guest of Honour. Two songs were screened on the occasion. The music brought out by Junglee music is composed by Vijay Antony to the lyrics of P.V. Prasad, Thamarai, Nepolean and Priyan. The film is due for release soon.
