A Touch of Native ness
Generally when you think of another language film dubbed in Tamil, the dialogue writer who comes to mind is Marudhabharani. But the makers of `Kazhugu’ (in Telugu) have decided differently. They have roped in L. Balamurugan, an associate with directors Saran and Hari, to pen the dialogue. Starring Nithin and Genelia the story has the game of rugby as the pivot. (Incidentally, the old `Kazhugu’ had Rajinikanth playing hero.) Says Balamurugan: “To lend a Tamil touch to the film, we are including a new comedy track with Muthukalai, Karunas, and Venu Madhavan from Telugu.
The shooting of these parts will begin soon. Rajadurai is assisting me in the comedy line.” This S S Chandramouli directed film also has actors like Nasser, Sashank, Rajiv Kanakala, Pradeep Rawat, Tanikella Bharani, Indu and Venu Madhav. Well known music director M M Keeravani has composed some breathtaking songs for the lyrics penned by Snegan. A N Basha is the producer of the film.
