A tribute to the legendary play back singer Ghantasala
Kala Pradarshini, the centre for performing arts and culture is organizing a grand function on 6 July at the Music Academy in which vintage songs of Ghantasala would be sung accompanied by dance ballets by the students of Kala Pradarshini. Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao, a popular singer in Tamil and Telugu film industry, he has sung over 22,000 songs during 1950s and 1960s.
Sarath Chandra, a singer from Hyderabad, will render golden hits of Ghantasala. Veteran playback singer S Janaki will be the chief guest.
