Actor Krishna in Kandasamy
Now 63 years old, Actor Krishna, who has acted in 350 films in a span of 35 years, plays the role of a police officer in ‘Kandasamy’, a bilingual film to be released in Tamil and Telugu. The film is being produced by Kalaipuli Thanu and is directed by Susi Ganesan. Director Susi Ganesan said that ‘Kandasamy’ is his pet project. When he wanted to do the film in Tamil and Telugu he thought of only Krishna for the police officer’s role, which is very important in the film.
Vikram was eager to do a film with only two directors. He wanted to do a film with director Shankar and the other was director Susi Ganesan. The film “Anniyan” by Shankar happened and “Kandasamy” by Susi Ganesan is on. When he learnt actor Krishna was acting in the film he was more than happy to work with the legend. In fact, Vikram had learnt many things from the thespian between the shots. Actor Krishna, has been conferred with an honorary doctorate by the Andhra University recently.
