Actor Nana Patekar and Comedian Vivek
Actor Nana Patekar is alleged to have been in splits when slapstick comedian Vivek came up with one of his jokes while the two were shooting for director Bharatiraja’s film ‘Bommalattam.’ Besides Patekar, the film has actors Arjun, Kajal Agarwal and Vivek playing important roles. Though he did not understand why the unit was laughing, he could not control his laughter when Vivek translated the joke in English for him. “I knew that Tamil cinema had the best technicians but now I find that it has the best comedians too,” he remarked. “I told him that from N.S.Krishnan, Thangavelu, Chandra Babu, Nagesh to Vadivelu, and Manorama among female artists, we have had the best.” The unit is winding up post- production work for ‘Bommalattam.’
