Actress behind Theft at Former MLA’S House
Telugu actress Sanjana is being interrogated by the Chennai police in connection with the theft that took place in the house of a former MLA where a woman wearing a full mask helmet barged in and stole jewels when the wife of the ex-MLA was alone. The incident took place at Kodambakkam here. A special team of Chennai police had been formed to trace the robber-woman based on the clues provided by Ambika, the wife of former MLA P S Ulagarakshagan.
Police said the details revealed by Ambika gelled with the results of their investigation; hence the actress was being questioned on suspicion. Finger-prints were lifted from the house where the theft took place. It may be noted that the robber-woman wearing the helmet barged into the house of Ulagarakshagan, attacked Ambika and looted over 100 sovereigns of jewellery and Rs one lakh in cash.
