Actress Piya is Priya Now
North Indian young actress Piya makes her debut in Kollywood with the film ‘Poi Solla Porom’. The film directed by Kireedom fame Vijay features her starring opposite Karthik Kumar in the female lead role. She has already acted in Hindi ad films with Amitabh Bacchan and Shah Rukh Khan. Her bubbly looks and active approach attracted Priyadarshan a lot and he invited her for the audition of Poi Solla Porom. And at all Piya thought to herself that she wouldn’t be able to make it since all the models who had been there for the audition were extraordinary with their stunning looks and make-over. Well, she was there for the occasion without any make-over and as a fact of great surprise, she was opted by Priyadarshan.
And now, this missy much before she would have her first film released, she has rechristened her name from Piya to Priya. She plays the female lead role in Ajith starrer Aegan too and buzzes are that she has more important in her characterization than Nayanthara. She pairs up with Navdeep in this film…
