Aegan in troubled waters
The forthcoming project of Ajith directed by Raju Sundaram which is titled Aegan which means Shiva, the God of destruction (of evils) has now run into troubled waters. The Titles Scrutiny Committee appointed by the State Government of Tamilnadu has now declared that Aegan is not a Tamil word since it did not find a place in the Tamil Dictionary or in any Tamil Literature. Director Raju Sundram is now frantically searching for a new title that would be relevant to the story. The news is that there would be a character of Ajith’s younger brother in the film and Navdeep who had made an impressive debut with Arindhum Ariyamalum and Ilavattam will don the role of Ajith’s brother.
Malayalam star Jayaram will be seen in a crucial role in the new Ajith film ‘Aegan’ Jayaram will join the shoot for the movie in the second schedule that will start shortly at Ooty. Also in the cast are Suhasini Manirathinam, Navdeep, Jayaram, Suman, Nasser and M S Baskar among others. Music is scored by Yuvanshankar Raja while dialogues are by S Ramakrishnan.
