Awards is not my agenda
Some will look for commercial hit films, others keen on making for classical victory which will lead to Awards. In this way 2007 is really fortune for many directors who had made there remarkable films like Veyil, Paruthi Veeran, etc,. Now, Thargarpachan’s Pallikudam also will join in screening their respective films in International Film Festivals.
Film Festival Awards seems to be more prestigious awards in our country, exclusive for the film makers, every year many films all around the globe will participate in this Film Festival. And Judges from different country will evaluate the caliber of the film to get that awards.
But, Director Thagarpachan says, “I take movies for my satisfaction and to enhance my creativity not for winning awards”.
