Director Balu Mahendra opening film institute
Veteran Director Balu Mahendra planns to open a film institute in Chennai. In a recent press meet in Chennai the Director Said, I have forty plus year experience in making of films, so, I thought, I should not waste my experience and it should be useful to others, this attracts me to open the film institute. And he added I don’t have intention to earn money, my only aim to educate the students about film making, he says.
At the same time we should not forget Balu mahendra is the only man in Tamil cinema received five National awards in different category like Editing, Direction & cinematography etc. His valid contribution towards Tamil cinema should continue.
