Priyamani banged best actress award for her performance in Paruthi Veeran at the Asian Film festival, which held recently in New Delhi. In Paruthi Veeran, Priyamani has enacted the role of “Muthazagu” a typical village girl character; according to the script the actress re-produced what director Ameer teaches to her, as the result she was chosen for the best actress award. ‘
Priyamani thanked director Ameer for giving responsible role in the film, and the actress leap hauled director Ameer. But the unfortunate thing is Priyamani will be never seen again in typical village girl character again in Kollywood.
