‘Bheema’ might not have done well at the box office, but Harris Jayaraj has scored enthralling music and the album tops the charts.
The top five Tamil albums are:
1. ‘Bheema’ - Music Director: Harris Jayaraj. Harris Jayaraj’s album is back at the top. ‘Mudhal mazhai’ is the most popular number.
2. ‘Billa’ - Music Director: Yuvan Shankar Raja. Like ‘Sivaji - The Boss’, the album refuses to fade away. The remix ‘My name is Billa’ continues to be a rage.
3. ‘Kaalai’ - Music Director: G.V. Prakash. Hats off to G.V. Prakash. The song ‘Kaala kaala’ sung by actress Mamta Mohandas and Benny is a huge hit.
4. ‘Pirivom Sandippom’ - Music Director: Vidyasagar. After ‘Mozhi’, Vidyasagar has come out with another melodious album in the form of ‘Pirivom Sandippom’.
5. ‘Vazhthukal’ - Music Director: Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film has disappeared from the theatres, but the songs composed by Yuvan are still good.
