Remakes often make it but Manachitrathzh is somewhat different. A movie remade in many languages is making it happen are only few and this movie is one among them. Remaking Malayalam movie Manachitrathazh, Director P Vasu remade in Kannada as Aaptha Mithra and then in Tamil as Chandramukhi. Both the films made good collection and became successful and recently Priyadarshan remade in Hindi as Bhool Bhulaiya starring Akshay Kumar, Amisha Patel and Vidhya Balan in the lead roles.
Not only in India, but also throughout the world the film has become a great hit. Priyadarshan adding more humour to the script has made it enjoyable and it’s an appreciable thing that the film has been ranked in UK Top 10.
