Dhaam Dhoom - Will Jeeva’s dream come true ?
Dhaam Dhoom is not just a movie that will be viewed for entertainment for but will remain as an ever cherished piece of Jeeva’s work. I would boldly said that with many directors boasting about themselves that they are taking Tamil Cinema to the next level towards the peak of World movies, cinematographer-director Jeeva had nothing to do with words, but in action.
The entire team of Dhaam Dhoom met Kollywood Today where they shared their gleeful moments with Late. Director Jeeva. He wasn’t just an auteur who wanted to make movies just for a sake of profession, but he breathed cinema all throughout his life and breathed his last with cinema. One of his assistant directors, speaking to the occasion had to shed his tears saying that Jeeva used to utter its not just the words that is going to elevate the standard of Tamil cinema, but the action and he has accomplished with his stunning directorial in Dhaam Dhoom.
Soon during the course of interaction, trailer for the film was screened and it looked something new. It comprised of two parts where one of totally with a silent and cool ambience in a complete family mood. Fine, the other part was different, just with location, but with the pace too.
Dhaam Dhoom is sure to attract all kind of audiences with the interesting storyline. It centers on a young doctor performed by Jayam Ravi falling in love with a village girl (Kangana Raut). With no obstacles for them, they get engaged and sooner he has to travel to Russia for a medical conference. Russia- a land of different people and an ambience where English has never entered has something unexpected for the young doctor. He is dumped into a horrifying problem and is unable to fix it until a Tamil lawyer (Lakshmi Rai) comes to his rescue.
Mrs. Sunanda Murali Manohar has produced the film and the entire crew is known for its excellence in their fields. Raju Sundaram, Shoby and Rekha Chinni Prakash have choreographed for the songs while S.Ramakrishnan has penned dialogues. Though great stunt masters Kanal Kannan and Thyagarajan have choreographed stunts, to bring modern and trendy appeal Chris Anderson who did stunt works for Hollywood flick like Casino Royale has taken care of stunts for Jayam Ravi.
V.T. Vijayan’s editing with Jeeva’s cinematography have been well viewed in many of their previous ventures and Jeeva has captured Russia so beautifully in a different tone.
With re-recording process just kick-started, audio for the film would be soon launched and film is slated to release by next month of mid-May.
