Is Chakravyugham a remake of Collateral ???

We remain as pioneers in getting you latest Kollywood films that are made with inspiration drawn from Hollywood and foreign films. This week we have couple of films that are shaping up with concepts grabbed from Hollywood films, one being Evano Oruvan and Chakravyugham as another flick.
Director Nishikanth made a Marathi film titled Dombvili Fast and Evano Oruvan is a remake of it. Do you another fact that Dombvili Fast itself was made with inspiration drawn from a Hollywood film Taxi Driver. Chakravyugham starring Jayasuriya and Natraj in the lead role is said to be based on a true incident of a woman working in IT getting murdered by a taxi cab driver. Buzzes are that though the film is based on real shocking incident, the film is a partial remake of Collateral starring Tom Cruise where he plays negative role.
