Is Harris Jayaraj losing his position?
Harris Jayaraj, the versatile music director has been churning out his best musical scores with his best friends ‘Jeeva’ and ‘Gowtham Menon’. But unfortunately, Jeeva passed away and Gowtham Menon has parted away from him. Be it his 12B, Dhaam Dhoom or the recent blockbuster ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’, the entire albums have been sold out like hot cakes. Of course, the FM stations keep airing these mesmerizing songs again and again.
But now, Gowtham Menon has parted way from Harris while his forthcoming flicks including ‘Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikalam’ have A.R .Rahman scoring music. Meanwhile, Late Jeeva’s widowed wife Aneesha has no plans about working with Harris Jayaraj. With her forthcoming ‘Muthirai’ still under production, she has opted from Yuvan Shankar Raja for scoring music.
When asked Aneesha, she says that both Director Sridhar and Yuvan Shankar Raja are close pals and so they are working together….
AR sir is a living legend and as far as music is concerned AR sir has achieved greatest heights in hindi tamil and english movies. It is a dream for every tamil musician to work in bollywood but in case of AR sir it has been a dream for the bollywood directors to work with AR sir,even they have delayed and postponed their projects waiting for AR sir.But harris has never got a single hindi movie in 9 years except RHTDM which is a remake of minnale.so you all harris fans please try to understand who is better,AR sir rocked bollywood with ROJA BOMBAY RANGEELA TAAL LAGAAN SDM and continues.

it seems none f u kno abt music….notes of some english songs are copied by both ARR n HJ…both f them hav not copied tunes 4their songs…prove me wrong if u can…come on guys its
just the notes that sound the same…..not the songs at all…ARR has proved his talent by givin different types and introducing dofferent trend to indian music industry…he tries different technologies which no indian musician has ever even seen…but HJ sticks on to the same instruments and the vocals tht he s been usin from the beginnin..not that all his music are of same tune or stuffs..same singers same instruments of course gives a feeling of similarity..he needs to change tht..he must try new singers just as ARR tries…then his music will sound different…both f thm are talented but ARR has got exposure and has worked with many gr8 world famous musicians like Yanni etc..wheras harris had no such oppurtunity….so give exposure to harris he ll improve..n ARR must keep the same pace tryin and introducing new new technologies….thts it…dont give worthless arguments…jz because u are a fan of aome1….afterall everythin is God given…and both of them have admitted..ARR always thanks God for it…so lets stop such arguments

whats your point? Harris won many awards? Is it? Oh oh are you saying about kalingar tv awards,one state awards etc etc. Ha ha ha, harris still new?! He came around 9 years back still not even achieving one national award.just look the achievements of Rahman of first 9 years and then speak. Even if you stand reversely harris cant compose original tune.
Im not putting rahman down okay. Like wat I said before i am not define by others. No point v r arguin here as if it is gona make a big diference in their lives. Harris is a copycat 4 u (for me, kind off) and Rahman is da music genius okay(undeniably of course)….Before i finish i would like 2 say once again tat I am a great fan of Rahman, it is juz tat i find it unfair 2 criticize harris with vulgar words n tat’s d reason i was kinda suportin him. Harris is stil new n he has also won several awards in Tamil, hope he wil learn 2 compose tunes solely by him. Finally, good luck 2 rahman on his nominations 4 grammy. So, you are again and again proving that you are not at all a die hard of Rahman. Because, for supporting your copycat harris, you are ready to abuse a genius like Rahman. I M SHOWing the whole copytune of your copycat but you poor copycat fan saying that here and there and this sec to that sec blah blah blah etc etc…that is called as co- incidence. No body is perfect thats very true. But your copycat jayaraj cant even give the original posses.atleast some originality should be there.dont encourage a copycat. Rahman no need to say that he is number one because his music and achievements speaks for him whereas your harris music speaks against him. I noe my english is not as good as yours but im pretty sure it is functional…u dun have 2 define me,I am a die hard fan of Rahman n i noe tat. I do knw tat harris loves 2 copy, i m juz suportin him knowing tat he gives good music too(prob not original)..D thing tat i dun like in harris is he loves 2 repeat his formula in songs…Pliz dun talk as if evry1 is perfect..Harris did not claim tat his d best, even Rahman didnt do tat. Only u guys r fighting here for no reason as if they r gona read ur comments…Do you know tat a short tune from a tajmahal songs is lifted frm Mask of Zorro (they sound d same), do you know tat kuluvayile’s(frm Muthu)song is taken from an English track (u cn hear it in Sister Act mvie). But Rahman do not copy d notes for sure n he has done tat very very seldom. dun think tat m criticizing rahman despite being his fan, i am juz sorting out examples for you 2 realize tat no 1 is perfect as i listen to rahman’s tune in depth! Learn how to accept people. Harris is harris n RAHMAN is RAHMAN(d best of course).
