James Bond film to be released in India before US release
Quantum of Solace starring Daniel Craig will be releasing in India on 7 November prior to its US release. This is for the first time in the history of Hollywood that a film will release first in India, followed by the US. The movie will be first released in the UK where it hits screens on 31 October. Quantum of Solace’s US release has been scheduled for 14 November to coincide with the long Thanksgiving weekend.
Quantum of Solace is a sequel to 2006’s Bond flick Casino Royale, which was based on Ian Fleming’s novel. The film is directed by German-Swiss film maker Marc Forster. It also stars Olga Kurylenko, Gemma Arterton, Dame Judi Dench, Jeffrey Wright and Giancarlo Giannini.
