Jeeva’s Last Rites
The entire Tamil film industry is in a state of shock after the sad demise of Cinematographer turned director Jeeva. The body of arrived from Russia after 3 days to chennai this afternoon. A tribute to the cinematographer held at his residence and kollywood big shots paid the last homage in the evening.
The whole arrangements was done by SICA ( South India Cinematographer Association ) headed by its President G.Siva. South India Producer Council President Ramanaryan, Nadigar Sangam President Sarath kumar. and Director’s Association President S.A Chandrasekar attended the funeral. Actor Sarathkumar came along with his wife Radhika, Actors like Arya, Arjun, Shaam, Surya, Karthi, Vinay, Vijay’s Wife, Actress Tabu, Asin, Trisha, Kushboo, Cinematographer Thankar Bachan, and whole of SICA team paid the last homage. Director Cheran, Balaji Sakthivel, Simbudevan, Lingusamy, Kathir, Venkatesh, RV Udayakumar also came for the last rites. Communist leader Nallakannu and other Politicians also came for the Funeral.
Asin, Arya, Shaam, Vinay were present till the end of the funeral. The Funeral took place at royapettah mosque at 6.30pm today.
