Yesterday in a grand function FICCI-FRAMES Living Legend Award was presented to two Veteran actors Kamal Hassan and Rekha. Union Minister and Broadcasting Minister Priyaranjan Das Munshi handed over the awards to Kamal Hassan & Rekha. The interesting part this function, Both Kamal Hassan & Rekha are belonging to Tamil Nadu, so we have to be proud that our Quality of cinema and film personalities proven to world that Tamil Cinema is equal to that of Hollywood.
Earlier only few personalities like Lata Mangeshkar, Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand, Asha Bhosle, Amitabh Bachchan, Waheeda Rehman, Shammi Kapoor, Hema Malini and Dharmendra received this award. And Dr. Kamal Hassan is the first South Indian to receive this award, and he did it again.
