Kamal Hassan as a Pakistan High Commissioner
A tsunami kind of set has been put up near Kovalam for the film Dasavatharam. Kamal’s Dasavatharam running around Chennai to complete the scenes, as one of the important scene was shot near ECR road, Kovalam. According to the script Kamal was dressed as Pakistan High Commissioner who od coming to see the people, who were destroyed by the Tsunami and speaking some few words to the victim affected by Tsunami. Kamal was seen in tradition Pakistan styled suit and wearing sun glass.
In order to capture the reality director K.S Ravikumar organized huge crowd to shot the sequence, at the same time people around Kovalam rushed to the shooting spot to see Kamal Hassan, so director turned the crowd into the scene.
