Super model Kanika going Malayalam to enact a lead role along with Malayalam super star Mammoty in PalasiRaja. Hariraj is the director of the film. It is a 18th centaury story, so director was in search of heroine in south India. In fact director found hard to find a heroine for his film.
Actor Namitha, Sneha and Nayanthara were approached for this film, but director was not satisfied with the Heroines. After seeing Varallaru, Director satisfied with Kanika’s performance in “Inisai Alavzaga” Song. Then director opted Kanika to act in 18th centaury film PalasiRaja. Even Kanika also satisfied with the story script of PalasiRaja, which will givea new opening in Malayalam film Industry.
