Karthik sacked from Political party
Actor Karthik who plunged into politics was sacked from the post of the president and general secretary of the State unit of All India Forward Bloc. Karthik had been expelled from the party for alleged anti-party activities. AIFB general secretary Biswas said Mr. Karthik had failed as the party’s State unit president and secretary to unite various factions and strengthen the party. The party had failed to address people’s issues and no public movement was organised.
It even failed to officially organize any function during the Guru pooja, on the occasion of Muthuramalinga Thevar’s birth centenary celebration. Biswas criticized Karthik for his immature behavior. He didn’t give a definite answer to questions about whether Karthik had been expelled from the primary membership of the party.
