Not a Mumbai model or doctor, but performs the role of a beggar. She and movie’s cameraman had walked through the streets of Periyakulam, which happens to be shooting destination of Nan Kadavul. She was asked to dress up like a beggar and was made up asking for alms. The interesting point here is that they had collected Rs. 47.50 at the end of the day and was absolutely unidentifiable under their guise. Bala was all praise for Karthika and had confirmed her role.
