Kollywood’s gesture for flood-affected victims

Kollywood’s gesture for flood-affected victims

Kollywood can better change it’s name to be ‘Charity Homes’ or something that is related to social services wings. It’s not just with other issues, but the Tamil film industry has been laying it’s importance to various aspects of helping Tamilians. For past 5 days, the entire state of Tamil Nadu has been flooded with heavy downpour and almost everyone has been affected out of it. Even the film’s released on Friday didn’t witness good openings and nearly shooting of 40 films were called off. With such a great desperate situation, some of the versatile personalities in Kollywood have come forward in helping the victims.

In the areas of Chennai Dasaratha Puram, Natesan Nagar, Mutthamizh Nagar, Majid Nagar and other regions of Saligramam and Vadapalani around 500 families were despaired with waters deteriorating the entire lives. Yesterday Vivek and Mayilsamy offered meals for the affected members by visiting them. Today, we’ll have Actor Sathyaraj and Director P. Vasu directly visiting the affected areas and sponsoring them food.
