1. Pirivoam Sandhipoam - With all the Pongal releases creating bleak scenario, expected movies were a great flop and Pirivoam Sandhipoam has turned out to be a moderate hit among these releases. Karu Palaniappan director of the film strikes again with a good family entertainer. Its not a matter of speaking about individual shows of Cheran and Sneha. The movie has no hero and heroine for its all about characterizations.
2. Pidichirukku – There wasn’t much hypes created for the movie, however the movie has become favorite among the audiences. Cool script and ambience add colour to the screen. Debutant Ashoka does his task with full efforts and heroine too. Watch out for this movie in theatres as soon as possible and if you aren’t able to watch it? No Problem, satellite channels will have it telecasted within a short period…
3. Bheema: Climax makes the movie stand at this position and nothing else to speak about this movie. Vikram with hefty looks doesn’t perform anything different and Prakash Raj is as usual with same performance. Trisha is absolutely of nothing in the film and Lingusamy fails in delivering the best.
4. Kaalai: Good storylines not narrated properly makes Kaalai has nonsense. Tarun Gopi has photo-copied the exact formula that of his first movie Thimiru. But last 20mins of the film is quite exciting and Simbhu has done a tremondous performance over there during climax. Vedhika dances well and Lal can be praised for his outstanding act…
5. Vaazthugal: Since we don’t any movies, Vaazthugal holds this position and we are sure this movie isn’t worth getting off with this position. Madhavan looks more matured and is not fit for taking up for chocolate boy roles. Bhavana looks beautiful and that doesn’t help for film’s enhancement.
