KURUVI shooting commenced yesterday being an auspicious day. Vijay who was in the hectic shooting of the climax scenes of ATM in Hyderabad rushed to Chennai for one day to participate in the shooting. Some scenes of Vijay and Trisha were filmed. Dharani is directing this film, while G.Gopinath who is presently busy with INDRALOGATHIL NA ALLAGAPPAN will handle the camera of this film. Vidyasagar takes care of music.

It is also reported that along with Dharani he would be directing the film? The film’s shooting schedule is designed for 300 days while the film is slated to release after a year preferably for next Diwali of 2008.
