Director Ganana Rajasekaran the director of Periyar had done a remarkable effort in making of the film Periyar, in this film Sathyaraj Hardcore atheist, featuring in Periyar’s Character and Kushboo starring as Maniammai ( Periyar’s Wife ).
Speaking to Kollywoodtoday director Rajasekaran said, instead of me only Sathyaraj has taken lot of efforts in making Periyar. And he explained because from enormous pressure from the Audience after the release of Bharathi tempted to do Periyar. Unlike director’s previous movie Mogamul, Bharathi, now Periyar has something to do.
