Mani Rathnam calls for Vasundhara
“It’s much more exciting than receiving a prestigious award” says most of the actors and actresses who receive a call from Mani Rathnam. This time, it’s actress Vasundhara who has called for a role in Mani’s film. If you are wondering, who this Vasundhara is? She is none other than the one who made a good start playing supporting actress in the film ‘Vattaram’ starring Arya and Keerath in lead roles. Her unique performance won her the credit of playing female lead role in ‘Kaalaipani’, a mystery thriller. And her recent release, ‘Jayam Kondan’ has won her the best credits. Playing such kind of roles in the very first few films really requires lots of boldness and that’s what Vasundhara has done.
Vasundhara now stars opposite Jeyam Ravi in the film ‘Peraanmai’ directed by SP Jananathan. When asked about Mani Rathnam’s project, she refused to speak about it saying that it’s not the right time to utter anything on this.
