Manoj joins Director Shankar as an assistant director
Manoj son of the prominent director Bharathiraja who did a small stint as an actor in Kollywood was very much interested in becoming a director. He did work as an assistant director under Manirathnam for the shooting of Bombay. Recently Director Shankar seeing Manoj keenness to direct movies had asked him to join as an assistant.
Manoj was cleared by Shankar after a personal interview. Manoj is very happy to work under Shankar. The ecstasy becomes double as Manoj is going to assist him in Superstar starrer Robot. He plans to direct a movie on his own after Robot.
