Mathrubhumi Award for Vijay
Vijay’s movie ‘Pokkiri’ has been selected as the best film 2007 by the Mathrubhumi – P.S.S. Limited Film Awards 2007 jury. Prabhudeva was adjudged the best director for his work in Pokkiri. Actress Nayanthara receives the best actress award for her performance in the film ‘Ee’.
The best film will receive a sum of Rs. 1 lakh. Recipients of the other awards will get Rs. 50,000 and mementos. P.V. Chandran, managing editor of Mathrubhoomi, announced the awards at a press conference that the awards ceremony will be held on November 18 at Kochi.
