MG.Sreekumar Compose Music for Kanchipuram
M.G. Sreekumar, well known playback singer, started his career in the Malayalam movie ‘Coolie’. The songs of the film clicked well with the audience and since then there has been no looking back for the singer. His songs in the film ‘ Chocolate’ and his school mate Priyadarshan’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ are the latest hits.
He took up music direction in Malayalam films ‘Achanayaanaikishtam’ (2001) and ‘Thandavam’(2002). Sreekumar is now making his début as music director in Priyadarshan’s new Tamil venture ‘Kanchipuram’. And he will also do the music for ‘ Paraya Paraya Pattanam’ and another Tamil movie to be produced by Seven Arts.
