After pairing up with Sarath Kumar in films like ‘Aye’ and ‘Chanakya’, Namitha is again roped into join hands with Sarath Kumar for the film 1977. Sarath Kumar at quite pleased about the moderate opening of his recent film ‘Nam Naadu’ that hit the screens last Friday. With busy shooting for the film Vaitheeswaran that is expected to release on the occasion of Diwali, Sarath will commence acting for the film titled 1977 before this yearend. With the film to travel on the routes of action-packed thriller, Sarath is expected to play the role of a detective who hunts for evil forces.
Calls on the air are that Namitha has been offered to play the role of female lead role in the film. Right now, she is busy shooting for films like Azhagiya Tamizh Magan with Vijay and Billa 2007 with Ajith.
