Paruthiveeran wins the best in Berlin
Ameer’s directorial Paruthiveeran won him the accolades during the final day of Berlin Film Festival. The film had to compete with around 163 films that were from different parts of the world. Right from the beginning, the film was getting good appreciations with 5 day screening and now Ameer is more elated with the film’s success. Ameer gets a Best director - Special award from the jury’s.
So Tamil cinema can be proud of such a great director and a good filmmaker taking Kollywood to the next standards afhead in the film in the category of World Cinema. Yesterday night he happened to get the award and tomorrow morning he will heading back to Chennai.
Kollywood Today congratulates him for the finest job and honour he has brought to our film industry. Even Om Shanthi Om of Bollywood happened to fetch good credits in the special screening. The entire tickets for the show were sold within 7mins and that has made both Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan happier.
