Rajnikanth created yet another path breaking record in collection; Rajnikanth’s Sivaji which opened for advance booking on 10th of June nearly collected 1.70 crore Rupee within 5 day of opening. No other film in Indian history has this kind turnover, this figure limited only to Chennai only, if we go for over all collection of the film, including foreign collections etc, then figure may go even higher.
Ramanathan, owner of Abirami Mega Mall sole distributor of Chennai division is pretty happy about the situation. While talking to the media on Wednesday Ramanathan, thanked GV films which lend full support in distributing activity, and he said Rajni films has its own crowd, celebration and fans etc, but this time Rajni and director Shankar strucked Tamil Nadu like a Tsunami, who had never expected.
Apart from distributor, theater owners are more confident after seeing the advance booking collection, and theater owner are pretty confident about there money which was invested in Sivaji.
