Porukki becomes Religious
Consequent on the request made by the Tamil Film Producers Council that the title of the Sundar C starrer Porukki is disparaging, the producer and the director of the movie Sakthi Chidambaram opted to go for a title change. He changed the title as Adhirudulae. However not convinced with the new name, Sakthi Chidambaram has changed the title as Mahamagam. The movie is set in Kumbakonam, a place where the annual Mahamagam temple festival is very famous.
Hence they have chosen it as the title for their movie. Mahamagam stars Sundar C and a Malaysian girl Ragini in the lead roles. Nadhiya and Vivek play prominent roles in the film.
