Producer’s Association to serve show cause notice
The Producers’ Association, along with associations of actors, film industry workers and traders has resolved to serve show cause notice to the members who did not participate in the protest fast held on Friday in connection with Hogenakkal project. After the letters of explanation are received, they would decide on further course of action.
Representatives of the Tamil film industry had on Friday voiced their protest against attacks on screens showing Tamil films in Karnataka, following Tamil Nadu’s decision to go ahead with the Hogenakkal project.
