Puli to decided Suryah’s destiny
Director turned actor SJ Suryah hasn’t been successful as an actor. Perhaps, his debut performance in ‘New’ won him laurels for the nasty commercial elements. Nevertheless, his second film as an actor ‘Aa…Aah’ (also directed by him), a partial remake of yesteryear Hollywood movie Straight From The Heart wasn’t so favorable for him at box office. Stepping out for a while, he is back as an actor for ‘Newtonin Moondram Veedhi’ where he plays the role of a fashion designer. With the film slated to hit the screens by this month end, SJ Suryah is simultaneously working on his Telugu directorial ‘Puli’ starring Pawan Kalyan in lead role.
Meanwhile another directorial ‘Vill’ starring himself in lead role will be hitting the floors by January. However, the director-actor has planned to move his next step soon after the results of Puli. If the film makes it big at box office, Suryah is there back again wielding megaphone not just in Tamil film industry, but in Bollywood too.
