Rajinikanth in a Telugu Film
After a gap of 13 years Rajnikanth is back in Telugu film which is a remake of the Tamil film Kuselan. Kuselan is a remake of the Malayalam movie Kadha Parayumbol. Telugu actor Jagapathy Babu will play the other lead in the unnamed Telugu version. Meena and Nayantara will play the female leads. Incidentally Meena played the lead in both the Malayalam and Tamil versions. The producers are betting high on the success of the remakes. The Tamil and Telugu version are being made at a cost price of Rs.60 crores.
Rajni is also quite happy to work in this venture. He had earlier acted in Peddarayudu in 1995.This movie is being shot at Ramoji Film City. This Telugu version is also directed by P.Vasu. This film is likely to hit the screen during the month of September.
