Noted Hindi director and producer Ram Gopal Varma has made a foray into Tamil cinema after his successful stints in Telugu and Hindi. He is producing a Tamil film titled “Leelai under his home banner RGV Films with Madhavan, Shamita Shetty and Sada in the lead. The film is to be made simultaneously in Telugu as well with the same cast and crew. It is named as “Adi Oka Idhi Le”.
The shooting has begun. Shayaji Shinde and Sreeman will play important roles in the bilingual film which will be directed by Kona Venkat, a debutant. G.V. Prakash Kumar will score the music for the film. Sada, a top actress, is to play the second heroine and she says she does not mind this as the story has impressed her. The character she is to play is also to her liking. This is not the first time Sada and Madhavan are working together. “Edhiri” was their first assignment. Sada is quoted as saying that they (Sada and Madhavan) became good friends during the shooting of “Priyasakhi”. Sada is sure Leelai will be a big hit as it has a good storyline.
