Raman Nalla Pillai is the title of the film being produced by Subbulakshmi under the banner Upendra Movies. The film is being made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. Praneeth has written the story. Ranga Babu is making his debut as the hero in this film. Preethi Varma is pairing with him. Brahmanandham, Ganja Karuppu, Vandu Jintha, Halwa Vasu, Abhinayashree, Ram Babu and Bobby Nekha will also be sharing the screen. Suman will also be seen in a significant role. Dhanapal is wielding the camera; Ranjithrein is composing the music for the lyrics penned by Viveka. Venugopal is in charge choreography. Hari N is editing the film.
Rohit Krishna has penned the screenplay and dialogues. Praneeth who has written the story is directing this film. The shooting of the film is to take place in Chennai, Rameshwaram, Madurai, Pollachi, Rajahmundry and Godavari. Tow songs will be shot for the first time in the Indo China border. This film is about the historic incident which took place in the 14th century during the King Chanakkya period is being modified according to current day’s trend. Prominence is given to Kabadi game in this film.
