Season 3 of the trendy boogie veracity show “Jodi No.1″ on Vijay TV (Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m.) has started. The popular faces of Vijay TV’s other serials and shows such as ‘Kana Kaanum Kaalangal’, ‘Madurai’ , ‘Kadhalika Neramillai’, ‘EQ’ and ‘Lollu Sabha’ are the new pairs. With the introduction of 10 pairs in the previous weeks, they have now divided themselves into two teams - DD’s team and Deepak’s team. Every week, pairs from one team will perform to popular songs.
The judges are actor Sangeetha and actor-director S.J.Suryah (it is his maiden judging effort). A thrilled Suryah says it is the perfect programme to make his television debut. He adds: “Television is an all-new experience for me. The reach of Jodi No. 1 is terrific; it gives me a new platform to reach out to family audiences and the youth. I will be doing 16 episodes.”
