Slumdog Millionaire for Oscars with 10 nominations
It’s a history made by A.R. Rahman for he is the first Indian to be nominated for couple of categories in the Indian History. Yup! Making us pride with honor, A R Rahman strides ahead adding more feathers to his cap. Well, the Modern Day Mozart has been nominated for Best Original Score and Best Song (Two Nominations ‘Jai Ho’ and ‘Oh Saaya’). Precisely, the film has won nominations in 8 different categories apart from this.
Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing, Best Motion Picture, Best Adapted Film. Crewmembers of the film were yesterday present for the premiere show in Mumbai. Well, they exulted in joy when the live relay from the Oscars Association announced the film’s nomination in 10 categories.
