With many corporate companies venturing into Kollywood, here comes Sony BMG but first just into audio markets. Stepping into regional filmdom, Sony will have its journey starting with one of the biggest blockbuster of this year Dasavatharam. Producer V. Ravichandran of Oscar Films is more elated in joining his hands with such a great international company in the audio market. Not just in India, but Sony Company has the pride of releasing the audios of famous Hollywood pop singers Jenifer Lopez, Madonna and many more.

Well coming into Bollywood, it has worked its best combo with Mani Ratnam (Guru), UTV (Rang De Basanti), Dharma productions (Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Kabhie Khushie Kabhi Gham, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho), Aamir Khan Productions (Lagaan), A R Rahman’s (Vande Mataram), Kailash Kher’s (Kailasa), Jagjit Singh–Gulzar’s (Marasim & Koi Baat Chale) and the Indian Idol and Fame Gurukul series among many.

Audio for Dasavatharam would be launched by the second week of March while film will be released on April 14 in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
