Suspense Drama

Director K.P. Sarvatheerthavan sounds happy. A debut making technician himself, he is making ‘Aarupadai,’ with new faces Guru and Asha. He had to wait eight months for Guru to grow his hair and have a different hairstyle. “The second half will be very suspenseful. None can guess what will follow.

And nearly the entire film has been shot outdoors, in various locations, including the forests near Pollachi. ‘Aarupadai’ will have an English film feel,” says Sarvatheerthavan. “And heroine Asha is from Kerala.” So here’s another entrant from those shores. “I was looking for a very young and innocent face. It’s just that she happens to be a Malayali,” says the maker.
