Swarnamalya in Indravizha
The film Indravizha is being directed by Director Rajeshwar. He had earlier done the most popular film like Amaran and Kovilpatti Veerlakshmi. This film has Srikanth in the lead. The tantalizing Maalavika was approached to do the lead role, but she refused on the grounds that she was pregnant.
Under these circumstances based on the recommendations of Srikanth, Swarnamalya was approached to do the role who in turn readily agreed. The sudden demise of Raghuvaran also came as a shock to the director since he was supposed to don an important role. Naseer is now doing this role.
