Swathi who had acted in Subramaniapuram is currently busy acting in Telugu films. She is waiting for offers to act in Tamil films. Swathi said,” My father was working for Indian Navy in Russia. I was born in Vladivostok in Russia. One of the doctor christened me as Sweldana,. I had come to Vizag to pursue my studies. My relatives who felt difficulty in pronouncing my name changed my name to Swathi. After ny studies I was working as an anchor in Telugu TV Channel.
Because of this I got the chance to act in Selvaraghavan’s Adavarimattalaku Arthaluverule. After this I acted in Subramaniapuram which won accolades for me. It is true that there is gap after Subramaniapuram. I am waiting for good scripts in Tamil. I cannot at in the roles which are not suitable for me. Currently I am acting in Telugu films only”
