Top 5 Movies - October 18 2007

1. Malaikottai – The film remains at the top for its stimulating screenplay and storyline. Vishal with his same style of stunts has tried something different
that’s with his comedy. Though Priyamani has nothing more to perform, she has done what is directed to her. Music by Manisharma is another highlight of the movie.

2. Marudhamalai – Arjun makes it again with his hilarious tracks with Vadivelu and there isn’t much comment on both the heroines. With already seen scenes on the screen, it is a good entertainment for all the centres.

3. Kattradhu Tamizh – Similar to that of his prior flicks like E and Raam, Jeeva has hosted the same show in this film. The film clearly focuses on the problems faced by a youngster after completing his graduation in Tamil Literature.

4. Sattham Podathey – Not of the same style of Vasanth that you have noticed in Keladi Kanmani, Aasai, Appu and Rhythm. Seems like he hasn’t treated a good storyline and could have done more to enhance the quality of the film. It’s an effortless effort from Prithviraj, moderate from Padmapriya and tremendous performance by Nithin Sathya. Couple of songs ‘Pesugiren’ and ‘Oh Indha Kadhal’ looks good on the screen.

5. Thavam – Arun Vijay makes a good comeback with this film and his hope has not failed him. Narrating a different dimension of love, Director has done a good job and hats off to Arjun for making Arun successful. Comedy tracks by Vadivelu are excellent and the song ‘Kannadasa’ makes us to hum the tune. Those who love to watch a movie that has no vulgarity, gore violence and profanity can watch this movie and its very relaxing.
