Trisha with Kamal Haasan in Marmayogi
Finally, Kamal Haasan has zeroed down Trisha after many heroines including Kajol, Padmapriya and Shriya Charan turning down his offer. At the moment, Hema Malini is the only actress who has signed agreement for the project. Trisha who is fed up playing glamorous roles not working out, she has decided to perform exceptional characters. Talks are now going on between Kamal Haasan and Trisha and soon things would be finalized. Sources close to the Kamal Haasan have confirmed that it is true that Trisha has offered to play female lead role signing for the call sheet of 100 days.
Trisha has assured that her performance in Abhiyum Naanum and Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikaalam would win her the laurels.
